Jordan Henderson has shared that Liverpool youngster Tyler Morton has ‘improved’ during these last few months, as he told the club’s official website.
The Liverpool captain pointed out that the 19-year-old has ‘listened and learned’ to the players in training, and as a result, taken his game to the next level.
Morton’s standout performance this season came in the legendary theatre of the San Siro when he ran the show in the Champions League against AC Milan.
Whilst Jurgen Klopp’s side had already qualified for the knockout stages, it wasn’t the case for AC Milan, who found a young rising star getting the better of them.
As one of the senior players in the dressing room and the man wearing the armband, Henderson would be expected to be one of the players to help guide Morton on to the right path.
The England international has shared that the Anfield academy product is responding so far and he has a ’big future’ ahead of him.
“Tyler has been brilliant over the last few months, I really think he has improved,” said Henderson.
“He has obviously learned and listened to a lot of the lads around him in training and being around the lads, in the dressing room and in training, it will certainly help him.
“I think that has helped him going into games, I think he has looked comfortable and he hasn’t looked fazed at all and he has done really well.
“So hopefully he can just carry on doing that. He is a great lad as well, he has worked extremely hard and I’m sure he’ll have a big future ahead of him.”

There aren’t many better players to learn off for Morton than the likes of Fabinho, Henderson and Thiago Alcantara.
All three are different types of players with and without the ball and it can help Morton’s game develop in a quicker and more dynamic fashion.
At this moment in time, Klopp is still easing him in and showering him with minutes now and again.
But with Curtis Jones also showcasing his worth in recent seasons, Trent Alexander-Arnold setting the bar, then the future is very bright for Morton.
