Ryan Sessegnon has been speaking to the Daily Mail about life at Tottenham, where he shared special praise for Ivan Perisic.
What’s the story?
Well, the Croatia international has only been at Spurs for a matter of weeks, following his arrival on June 1st.
However, Sessegnon has now revealed that Perisic is already helping him a lot as the 33-year-old shares his vast experience with the 22-year-old.
The £25m signing from Fulham said: “I can learn a lot from him technically, mentally and physically. He’s already helped me with little pointers, tips about the way affect the game more in an attacking sense and score more goals.”
Now, that is great to hear.
Usually, it can take a new signing some time to settle in, especially someone who has never played in England before, like Perisic.
However, the Croatian doesn’t seem to be phased by his new environment at all, and he clearly feels comfortable enough around his teammates to share advice with them.

Perisic arrives at Tottenham off the back of a Coppa Italia win, in which he scored twice against Juventus in extra-time to hand Inter Milan a 4-2 win.
Therefore, Sessegnon should listen to his advice on how to be an attacking threat very closely.
Ryan Sessegnon comments should excite Tottenham fans
In our view, Sessegnon learning from Perisic should excite Spurs fans greatly.
The England Under-21 international has struggled for rhythm in north London since his move from Fulham back in 2019, but now, he has all the tools needed to thrive.

Sessegnon has a world-renowned coach in Antonio Conte to learn from, a man who specifically specialises in developing full-backs and wing-backs.
Furthermore, he has people like Perisic, who have played at the highest level in a number of countries while also winning silverware, to help him.
With all of the above taken into consideration, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Sessegnon kick on from last season and have a truly impressive 2022/23 campaign.
