Considering the official announcement was made on Friday, it is a surprise that the former Brighton & Hove Albion attacker has already trained with Mikel Arteta’s side.
However, that well and truly is the case as Leandro Trossard has been pictured in training at Arsenal.
Signed for an initial £21 million fee, as per Fabrizio Romano, it’s safe to say that the Belgian international is a bargain buy for the Gunners.
With 7 goals and 2 assists for Brighton in the Premier League alone, Trossard, labelled as ‘unreal’ by Rio Ferdinand on ‘Vibe With Five’ has had a brilliant campaign so far.
And that too while operating in a wide variety of positions.
Under Graham Potter, the 28-year-old was extensively utilised in a left wing-back role this season.
Despite that, Trossard remained extremely productive and barring the last few games, he has undoubtedly been the Seagulls’ standout player all season.
Of course, now he joins the Premier League leaders, where he is expected to serve as an understudy to Gabriel Martinelli for a while.
And considering Leandro Trossard has already been spotted in Arsenal training, he clearly seems up for the task to impress Mikel Arteta.
