Juninho Bacuna is currently coming through the ranks at FC Groningen.
The brother of Aston Villa midfielder Leandro Bacuna has been speaking about his relationship with the Villa star, and his own desire to one day play in the Premier League.
19-year-old midfielder Juninho Bacuna is currently a first-team player at Eredivisie side FC Groningen, a former team of Aston Villa’s own Bacuna.
Speaking to Dagblad van het Noorden this week the teenager explained how he spoke to Leandro every day and the advice that the Aston Villa star was giving him regarding his career:
“I have contact with Leandro every day. We talk about everything. Not just about football. Every day we play PlayStation against each other.
“With Christmas and New Year I went two weeks with him in Birmingham. Leandro looks nine out of ten games from me.
“He tells me what I did well and what I can do better next time. I can well with Leandro talking about. He also is midfielder and we have the same understanding. ”

He then went on to admit a desire to one day follow in his older sibling’s footsteps and play in England:
“I do not do career planning and FC Groningen have a contract until 2019, but if there is a rather nice club in the Premier League, or in Spain, it would be that I grab that chance. Why not?”
Bacuna, a Curacao international, has often struggled to win over the Villa fans but he has always stuck by the club and is currently a regular feature for Steve Bruce.

Could Juninho be a star if Villa made a move for the youngster?
The winger is a talented and skilful player who could certainly add something to the equation at Villa Park.
However, he needs to prove himself in Dutch football before he is offered the chance to make a move to Aston Villa or any English team.
But he is certainly one to keep an eye on.
