Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony believes that Leeds United can get promoted to the Premier League.
Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Garry Monk will guide Leeds United back to the Premier League.
Leeds have not featured in the top flight of English football since 2004 and have become also-rans in the Championship in recent years.
This season, though, things could be different, as the West Yorkshire outfit are going strong and are currently fifth in the table.

The Whites appointed Monk as the head coach in the summer, and the former Swansea City manager has done a remarkable job at Elland Road so far.
MacAnthony, who is currently the chairman of League One club Peterborough, believes that Monk can guide Leeds to the Premier League if he is given support.

Leeds have a decent squad that should be challenging for a top-six finish in the Championship this season.
It is going to be hard for the Whites to end up in the playoffs, but given the results of the Whites so far this season, the fans should be optimistic.
Monk’s side will take on Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.
