AS Roma and Basaksehir are interested in signing Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo from Celtic in the summer transfer window, according to TMW.

Serie A club Roma are looking at Bolingoli-Mbombo, according to the Italian publication, which has also claimed of interest from Turkish champions Basaksehir.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, the Belgian left-back broke quarantine rules earlier this season.

Celtic spell

Bolingoli-Mbombo moved to Celtic from Rapid Vienna in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £3 million.

According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the left-back made 14 appearances in the Scottish Premiership and played four times in the Europa League for Neil Lennon’s side last season.

Celtic exit this summer?

Greg Taylor is the only senior left-back in the Celtic squad at the moment, with Bolingoli-Mbombo out of the team at the moment.

If the Hoops are to sell the 25-year-old Belgian, then they must ensure that they have a replacement lined up.

Lennon’s side, who have been knocked out of the Champions League, are aiming to make it 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row this season.
