Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier suggested on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports Premier League on Saturday afternoon (12:09pm, November 24, 2018) where Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko needs to improve.

Sissoko has been playing regularly for Tottenham in recent weeks and seems to have established himself as an important figure in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

According to WhoScored, the former Newcastle United midfielder has made six starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, making 0.7 tackles per game on average and proving one assist in the process, and has a pass accuracy of 86%.

Former Southampton attacking midfielder Le Tissier believes that Sissoko is in the Tottenham team due to his energy.

The former England international, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that the 29-year-old France international midfielder – who earns £80,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has to work on his final ball and make better decision.

Le Tissier said about Sissoko on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports Premier League on Saturday afternoon (12:09pm, November 24, 2018): “I think he is in the side because of his energy. His energy levels are incredible, but I still believe that he has to improve his final ball.

“When he gets into positions where he can set somebody up for a goal or he can score himself, he has got to show just a little bit more composure in those situations, and then you have got a proper player on your hands.”

Tottenham will face London rivals Chelsea in the Premier League this evening.
