Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold scored against Watford last weekend, but he did not start against Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of the best young players in the Premier League, and the 20-year-old right-back has been playing well for Liverpool this season.
The England international has established himself as the first-choice right-back for Liverpool, and is showcasing his attacking prowess as well as his defensive quality.
According to WhoScored, the right-back has scored one goal and provided two assists in 11 Premier League appearances for the Reds so far this season.
Alexander-Arnold scored a brilliant goal from a direct free kick during Liverpool’s 3-0 win against Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the Premier League last weekend.
It was one of the best goals in the English top fight so far this season, and the youngster’s overall performance in the match was also very encouraging.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, though, did not include Alexander-Arnold in the starting lineup in the Champions League Group C game against Paris Saint-Germain away from home in France on Wednesday evening.
The right-back was an unused substitute, as the Merseyside outfit lost 2-1.
Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that the youngster will be disappointed at not playing against PSG after a wonderful performance last weekend.
Le Tissier said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News on Saturday afternoon (1:06pm, December 1, 2018): “He would have gutted. He would have been absolutely devastated.”
“It was a big surprise to me that he was left out, I must admit, because I think he has been exceptional,” added Le Tissier. “I like him a lot.”
