The performances of Richarlison for Watford so far this season have been superb and have led him to being linked with a move away from Vicarage Road.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Richarlison from Premier League rivals Watford.

It has been reported that Spurs have been keeping tabs on the Brazilian forward and have had scouts watch him regularly at Watford games.

The 20-year-old attacker switched to the Hornets from Fluminense in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £11.5 million.

The Brazilian has been a hit at Vicarage Road, as he has scored five goals and provided two assists in 11 Premier League starts for the Hornets so far this season.

Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier has suggested that Richarlison needs to improve his finishing and is not surprised that he has been linked with a move away from Watford.

“He has to sharpen up his finishing,” said Le Tissier about Richarlison on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News last Saturday afternoon (12:43pm, November 18, 2017) while discussing reported interest from Tottenham.

“He is only young and he will be expected to get better, and it doesn’t surprise me that he has been linked to bigger clubs,” added Le Tissier about Richarlison.

Meanwhile, former Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas believes that Spurs would get £25 million if they sold defender Toby Alderweireld.

“You have got Alderweireld’s contract running down,” Jenas said on The Friday Football Social show on BBC 5 live Sport last Friday evening (9:31pm, November 17, 2017).

“You either give him £150,000 a week or you sell him. You would probably get £24 million in his last year, maybe £25m – in his last year I am taking about here. We know he is worth way more than that.”
