Sir Alex Ferguson has criticised midfielder Nani for giving the ball away which led to Chelsea’s equaliser in the League Cup tie. Chelsea ran out 5-4 winners after extra time but United were seconds away from securing a win in normal time before an Eden Hazard penalty which came as a result of Nani losing the ball.

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba says he left the club because he couldn’t reach an understanding with Sir Alex Ferguson. Pogba plays for Juventus in Serie A and has become one of the club’s first choice players so far this season. He says he also left because their interest was massive.
