All of the latest news concerning Manchester United.

Manchester United winger Nani has been ruled out for at least the next ten days with a hamstring injury. Nani picked up the problem during the club’s mid-week Champions League win away in Braga. The news is a blow to the player who had been trying to win back a regular place in the United starting side.

Jonny Evans may be forced to sit out the Premier League clash at Aston Villa with a groin injury. Evans picked up the problem in the club’s mid-week Champions League game and he may be rested now that fellow defender Chris Smalling is back and fighting for regular selection.

Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted that there is more to Manchester United than striker Robin Van Persie. Ferguson has revealed that he expects both Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez to score at least 20 goals each by the end of the season ending speculation that Hernandez was about to leave Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney has said that his Manchester United teammate Robin Van Persie could be the difference between the side winning and losing the Champions League this season. Van Persie signed from Arsenal over the summer and has already started scoring goals for the club across all competitions.

Sir Alex Ferguson has given his biggest hint yet that winger Nani could still have a future at the club. Ferguson has said he hopes the winger will be fit inside the next two weeks following a hamstring injury suffered away at Braga. Ferguson has confirmed Nani has just strained and not torn the hamstring.

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has said the club will not stop Ryan Shawcross from returning to Manchester United if the Old Trafford club made a bid. Shawcross began his career at United before he was sold for £1 million to Stoke. United’s defensive injuries mean they could be looking to sign an additional defender in January.

Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder could be back in line for a move to Manchester United. The play maker is growing increasingly frustrated with Inter Milan according to reports from Italy. He has just returned from a groin problem and has been left out of a number of the club’s recent matches.

Manchester United are thought to be ready with a minimum £12 million bid for Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama. The midfielder, who scored against Barcelona during the week, is thought to be on United’s radar as a possible midfield enforcer which the current side is missing.
