The Argentine international was signed on a free transfer this summer by the Baggies, and has adapted with ease to the Premier League, playing a key role in Steve Clarke’s side’s good early season form. The 19-year-old has been linked with the club since the summer of 2011 and United could be holding out for a cheaper price or waiting until the player becomes a free agent. Sampirisi can play in either full back position.
