Lazio are poised to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers to the signing of Belgium international Jordan Lukaku, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Wolves were lining up a move for Oostende defender Lukaku as they looked to bring a new left-back to Molineux, but it appears Lazio have beaten them to the signature of the highly-rated defender.
Lazio are understood to have areed a fee in the region of €5million with Oostende for Lukaku and that the player is due to travel to Italy for talks and a medical later this week.

Wolves, who are poised to be taken over by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International, had targeted an ambitious move for Lukaku as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion to the Premier League, but Lazio have moved quickly to beat the Championship side to the Belgian defender.
