Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers have appointed Steven Gerrard as the Gers’ manager, while former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is in charge of Celtic at the moment.

Gerrard has recently been appointed as the Rangers manager and will take charge of the Ibrox club from next month.
The former England international midfielder is one of the greatest players in Liverpool and Premier League history.
Former Liverpool manager Rodgers has been in charge of Celtic since the summer of 2016 and has been hugely successful at Celtic Park.
Ex-Liverpool defender Lawrenson, who is also a legend at Anfield, has suggested that players would prefer to work with Gerrard at Rangers to playing under Rodgers at Celtic Park.

Inside Futbol quotes Lawrenson as saying: “I think when Celtic are after players, Rangers will be after the same players.
“And he [Gerrard] will be a massive draw, especially if Rangers can match the money that Celtic are paying.
“Do you want to play for Brendan Rodgers or Steven Gerrard? I think as a player you’re probably thinking ‘I want to play for Gerrard’.”

Rangers or Celtic?
Gerrard is a blockbuster name, and the Liverpool legend’s arrival at Ibrox has made headline-news all around the world.
There is no doubt that many players, especially younger ones, would love to work with Gerrard, but at the same time, one should not underestimate the impact that Rodgers can have on players and his pull.
