Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Inter Milan have reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur target Lautaro Martinez over a new deal.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Martinez, who is on the radar of Nuno’s Tottenham, will stay at Inter and will sign a new contract.
Romano has added that Tottenham made a bid of €70 million (£59.98m) plus add-ons for the Argentina international striker a few weeks ago.
Atletico Madrid also made a similar bid for the 24-year-old Argentina international striker, according to Romano.

Disappointment for Tottenham Hotspur?
Harry Kane is staying at Tottenham, and some fans might not be too fussed that Martinez will not move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium now.
However, it is a blow for the Spurs chiefs.
Why?
Because The Times reported earlier this month that Tottenham were looking to sign Martinez to play alongside Kane and not as his replacement amid interest from Manchester City in the England international striker.

Spurs head coach Nuno wants to play with two strikers.
With Martinez now reportedly set to stay at Inter, Tottenham will have to look at other options or maybe just make Son Heung-min a ‘full-time striker’.
Martinez scored 17 goals and gave six assists in Serie A last season, and scored 14 goals and gave three assists in the league in 2019-20.
