Wolverhampton Wanderers lost against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Managing Director Laurie Dalrymple has taken to Twitter to send a message to the fans following the match against Liverpool.
The Wanderers suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool away from home at Anfield on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday afternoon.
The result means that Nuno’s side have finished the season in seventh place with 57 points from 38 matches, three points clear of Everton in eighth.
It has been a very successful season for Wolves, especially as they won automatic promotion from the Championship only at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
Wolves Managing Director Dalrymple has stated on Twitter that it has been a fantastic season and has thanked the fans for their support.
Dalrymple has also said that the Wanderers will work hard over the summer to to get ready for the 2019-20 campaign, and perhaps it is a suggestion that the club will spend money in the transfer window to strengthen their current squad.
