Wolverhampton Wanderers are expected to be extremely busy during this summer’s transfer window.
Wolves Managing Director Laurie Dalrymple sat down for an exclusive interview with the Express & Star, and bullishly declared that there could be a busy summer of spending ahead at Molineux.
The Black Country outfit have been quite simply brilliant this season, and it could be argued that there squad is already good enough to enjoy a successful campaign in the top flight next term, if they turn their loan signings into permanent deals.
Nuno Espirito Santo has worked wonders since taking over at Molineux in the summer of 2017, and his knack of plucking top class players from foreign leagues will be put to the test once again this summer.
Dalrymple hinted that there could be more exciting times ahead for Wolves during this summer’s transfer window, when speaking exclusively to the Express & Star:
“If we want to make a statement that we want to go into the Premier League and be competitive with a number of other clubs then we’re going to have to make sure we’ve got some investment potential to back that up.”
The key for Wolves could very well be tying all of their current loan stars down to permanent deals.
Nuno has six players on loan at Molineux, and aside from Ruben Vinagre, they have all played major roles in Wolves’ success this season.
Whatever route the Black Country outfit take with regards to their summer recruitment, Wolves fans should be expecting an extremely exciting transfer window.
