Following the win over Burnley, Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has reiterated that they must remain grounded, speaking to Sky Sports.

The Gunners travelled to Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon looking to continue their fine run of form of late.

They were met by as resilient Burnley side, though, who held Arsene Wenger’s team at bay until a last minute goal from Koscielny saw his team take all three points.

The result meant that Arsenal moved up to third in the table and just two points behind leaders Manchester City.

It increases hope among their fans that a title challenge could be on the cards this season but Koscielny has once again urged them to remain grounded.

“We wanted to finish before the international break with a win. It’s important to keep our feet on the ground,” he told Sky Sports.

“You could see against Burnley they played well. We needed to push ourselves more and more and in football, the aim is to win and keep the quality of our football at the same time.”

It is certainly too early to be suggesting Arsenal can be title challengers, something they will know themselves after last season’s collapse.

There is no denying they have started strongly, though, responding well to that defeat on the opening day to Liverpool.

The fact they managed to find a way to beat Burnley should also be a cause for optimism given this was the kind of game in which they consistently slipped up last season.
