Leeds United have loaned Laurens de Bock to Sunderland.

Sunderland new boy Laurens de Bock has told The Chronicle that he was impressed with the club after watching their documentary on Netflix.
The Black Cats have been in the market for a left back this summer, looking to offer a more proven option in front of youngster Denver Hume.
Right back Conor McLaughlin has been pressed into action on that side of the pitch, and a host of left backs were linked with moves to Wearside ahead of the transfer deadline.
Eventually, Sunderland did secure a new signing, landing Leeds United left back De Bock on a season-long loan deal.
De Bock was an important signing for Leeds in January 2018, landing him from Club Brugge as a potential solution to their left back issues.
However, he played just seven times for Leeds before being sent on loan to Oostende back in his native Belgium, and now he’s off to Sunderland.

The 26-year-old will look to finally show his quality in English football, and whilst he’s admitted he doesn’t know much about Sunderland, he has seen their Netflix documentary series ‘Sunderland ‘Til I Die’.
De Bock has admitted that the series gave him a ‘good image’ of Sunderland as a club, praising the Black Cats as a ‘big club’ having been in the Premier League recently.
“I know this is a big club that was previously in the Premier League and I also saw the documentary on Netflix,” said De Bock. “That gave me a good image of the club and how everything works here. I wouldn’t say I know a lot about the club, but I am here to find out now,” he added.
