Laurens De Bock joined Leeds United in the January transfer window.

De Bock joined Championship club Leeds from Belgian side Club Brugge in the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old left-back has given his impression on the Championship, and as expected, the former Belgium Under-21 international finds it rough with players going in for challenges.

“It’s a little bit rough,” De Bock told BBC Radio Leeds about the Championship. “They like to kick long balls.
“That’s a little bit different than Belgium. Also, when there is a 50-50 duel, they always go 100%.
“Sometimes in Belgium you have more players who don’t play that way, but I like it. I think it’s also a little bit my kind of style to play it hard, so it’s okay.”

Good signing
De Bock arrived at Leeds from Brugge with a strong reputation, and the left-back has looked good for the West Yorkshire outfit so far.
The left-back has played twice in the Championship so far for the Whites. and the performances of the 25-year-old have been quite encouraging.
Leeds seem to have signed a defender who can and will get better, and one who can make an impact in the Premier League if the Whites do get promoted to the Premier League.
The Whites’ recent performances and results have not been great, but Thomas Christiansen’s side are still very much in the race for the playoffs.
