Is Laurens De Bock doing enough in an attacking sense for Leeds United? According to the stats, no.

Four games in and Leeds United look to have pulled off a decent signing in left-back Laurens De Bock.
The 25-year-old joined United in a £1.5 million deal from Club Brugge last month and has enjoyed a steady start to life in West Yorkshire.
If there is one aspect that De Bock must improve on, however, it’s going forward.

So far, the Belgian defender has attempted 13 crosses in a Leeds shirt but only one of those was successful and there was further evidence of his attacking deficiencies in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United.
Quality service from out wide was something that the Whites lacked from Gaetano Berardi in the first half of the season and it appears as if De Bock isn’t going to replicate the brilliant delivery that Charlie Taylor offered for so long.

It isn’t that De Bock refuses to get forward, because he has found himself in the opposition’s final third on 26 occasions in 360 minutes of Championship football, but he isn’t proving much of an outlet in enemy territory.
Still, it’s still very early days and it’s entirely possible that he will improve in an attacking sense as time goes on, but for now his crossing is definitely something to work on in training.
