Arsenal fan and Sky presenter, Laura Woods, has thanked Leeds United on her Instagram story for sending her a Leeds shirt.

The 34-year-old posted a small clip of her unboxing a package from the Yorkshire club that contained a Leeds top.

There was also a letter, for the childhood Arsenal supporter, from Andrea Radrizzani that read ‘Thank You for your support. Marching on together’.

The talkSPORT host captioned the clip with these messages: “Oi @Leedsunited I see you.” added with a laughing and heart emoji.

She then added: “This is a lovely touch. Thank you (Still a Gooner though).”

Given that the well-known presenter is an Arsenal fan, that Leeds shirt might just go on display rather than her wearing it.

It’s not yet known the reason behind why Leeds have sent the package to Woods, but it’s a great gesture, nonetheless.

Both Leeds and Arsenal finished in the top ten last season and the duo will be aiming for Europe ahead of the new season.

If Marcelo Bielsa gets off to an indifferent start then he will be backed from the stands, but that won’t be the case for Mikel Arteta, who needs to show his supporters that they should ‘trust the process’.

Fans will be allowed back into stadiums in August and it’s going to be interesting to see the mood around the Emirates.

One thing is for sure, Elland Road will be the place to be because, after nearly 20 years, a packed out crowd will be able to see Leeds in action on the Premier League stage.
