McCall has denied rumours he could quit Bradford City, but is 16/1 to become Sunderland’s next boss.
Former Rangers manager Stuart McCall
Stuart McCall is the newest name to emerge on Sky Bet‘s list of potential Sunderland managerial appointments.
The Bradford City boss was reportedly ready to resign from his Valley Parade post on Sunday, although he later strenuously denied those claims.
That does not appear to have stopped the punters from having a flutter, however, with McCall rising out of nowhere to become sixth favourite to replace David Moyes at the Stadium of Light.

Former Sunderland striker Kevin Phillips is the current frontrunner with odds of 5/4, while Derek McInnes remains a strong contender at 7/4.
Behind the pair are outsiders Paul Lambert [9/1], Nigel Pearson [10/1] and Simon Grayson [12/1], with McCall and his fellow ex-Rangers boss Ally McCoist next on the list – tied at 16/1.
McCall led Bradford to the League One play-off final in his first season back at Bradford, but has already lost first team regulars James Meredith, Billy Clarke and Stephen Darby ahead of the coming campaign.

The Leeds-born Scot has also managed Motherwell as well as Rangers.
Would the Bradford boss be a good appointment for Sunderland?
