Tottenham Hotspur are keen on a move for Bournemouth’s Nathan Ake, The Star report.

Ake is a tremendous prospect who is proving his quality in the Premier League on a weekly basis for Bournemouth.

His most recent performance should convince Tottenham that he is worth splashing out on.

Ake was dominant for Bournemouth in their 4-0 win over Watford.

Confronted with the task of shutting down an in form Troy Deeney, Ake did exactly that, succeeding where Tottenham failed.

Ake barely let Deeney have a kick, and limited his effectiveness in front of goal on his way to helping the Cherries keep a clean sheet.

Just weeks earlier, Deeney proved a real menace against Tottenham as he led Watford to a 2-1 comeback win.

Ake was so convincing this weekend that it may have made Spurs scouts sit up and take notice. It was hard not to notice his calm and controlled performance at the back.

At just 23-years-old, Ake would be a terrific buy for Tottenham, and he would be ready to make an impact immediately if he signed.
