Delia wants trophies
Celtic manager Ronny Deila wants the club to win every competition available to them this season.
The Bhoys are competing in a number of different tournaments domestically and in Europe this campaign and Deila insists that he wants to win every trophy available to him.
“We need to create something good,” he said to Evening Times. “If we do that, over time we will also win trophies. We really want it, and I really want it.”
Deila wants to keep Collins
Ronny Deila says that he wants to keep Celtic’s assistant manager John Collins, with rumours emerging that he could be in line to land a job with the SFA.
Collins works with Deila at Parkhead currently and he has clearly impressed the Norwegian during their time together so far.
“I can say that John Collins knows what he’s doing,” said Deila to the Evening Times. “He’s a fantastic person with a lot of experience and knowledge about what is needed to become a good player.”
McCoist determined
Ally McCoist is adamant that he can return Rangers back to the top-flight.
Boardroom takeovers have dominated the headlines at Ibrox all week, but McCoist is still focused on the task at hand.
“I’m as strong willed as I’ve ever been to continue in my job of getting Rangers back to the top flight,” he said to the Evening Times.
