West Bromwich Albion fans fear that they may have seen Matheus Pereira for the last time, amid rumours that Leeds United want him.

Pereira featured for West Brom on Wednesday, as they lost 3-1 to West Ham United at the Hawthorns.

The reported Leeds target was once again lively, despite the Baggies’ defeat.

After the game he posted on Twitter, and Albion fans admit that they fear he has placed at their home for the final time, with Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds side said to be watching on from a distance.

The Daily Express initially carried the rumours of Leeds’ interest in Pereira.

They may have caused some concern around relegated West Brom, but they certainly look exciting for Leeds.

The Brazilian could be a hugely attractive addition to Bielsa’s side.

He has proven a major threat in a fairly defensive West Brom side, so he would surely be a huge danger with the freedom that Bielsa offers his players.

The thought of seeing Raphinha and Pereira linking up is a tantalising prospect for Leeds supporters, and if he was to arrive it would be a great start to their summer recruitment drive.
