Liverpool 2-1 Swansea (League Cup Fourth-Round – 28^th October, 2014)

A late Liverpool comeback ensured Brendan Rodgers’ side progressed to the fifth-round of the cup. Marvin Emnes beat Brad Jones in the Liverpool goal to give Swansea the lead after 65 minutes. Mario Balotelli replaced Rickie Lambert in the 79^th minute and the Italian forward netted the equaliser seven minutes later. Federico Fernandez saw red in stoppage time for a tackle on Philippe Coutinho and Liverpool took advantage as Dejan Lovern headed home a dramatic late winner.

Liverpool 4-1 Swansea (Premier League – 29^th December, 2014)

Liverpool leapfrogged Swansea in the table with a comfortable win at Anfield. Alberto Moreno put Liverpool ahead before Adam Lallana doubled their lead. Moments later, Gylfi Sigurdsson pulled the Swans back into the game with a close range finish. A second goal from Lallana and an own goal from ex-Liverpool man Jonjo Shelvey sealed the win for Liverpool.

Swansea 0-1 Liverpool (Premier League – 16^th March, 2015)

Liverpool took their winning streak to five games courtesy of a Jordan Henderson goal. Swansea looked the better side in the first-half but Liverpool improved as the game went on and were rewarded with a fortunate goal as Jordi Amrat’s sliding tackle deflected in off Jordan Henderson. The win saw Liverpool move two points off 4^th placed Man Utd while Swansea remained in 9^th place.

Liverpool 1-0 Swansea (Premier League – 29^th November, 2015)

A James Milner penalty handed Jurgen Klopp his first league victory at Anfield. Neil Taylor was adjudged to have handled Jordan Ibe’s cross and Milner stepped up to seal the points on a tough afternoon for both sides. The result saw Swansea drop to 14^th place with only one win in their last ten league games. The win for Liverpool saw them jump to 6^th place in the table.

Swansea 3-1 Liverpool (Premier League – 1^st May, 2016)

Goals from Andre Ayew and Jack Cork saw Swansea guarantee their Premier League status. Ayew put the Swans ahead before a wonderful Cork strike took the hosts into a 2-0 half time lead. Christian Benteke pulled one back for Liverpool but two minutes later Ayew wrapped up the points for Swansea. Brad Smith’s second booking rounded off a miserable day for Livepool which saw them drop to 8^th in the league.
