Brentford attacker Lasse Vibe has told Get West London that he will never be able to reach the level of Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen.
Vibe, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, plays with Eriksen for the Denmark national football team.
The 30-year-old has praised the Tottenham star, and has admitted that he will never be able reach the level of the former Ajax ace.
“I’m never going to reach Christian’s level – he’s way too good and I’m way too old,” Vibe told Get West London. “It’s always inspiring.”
Vibe’s comments about Eriksen show just how good the Tottenham star is. The Denmark international attacking midfielder is quite underrated, but it should not come as a surprise if he becomes world class in the coming years.
Eriksen has scored six goals and created 79 chances in 27 Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.
The Danish ace has scored six goals and created 114 chances in 35 league matches for Tottenham during the 2015-16 campaign.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 59 points from 28 matches, 10 points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea.
