The pair could face each other at the end of April.
Nottingham Forest’s Nicklas Bendtner heads wide
Nottingham Forest flop Nicklas Bendtner recently took the move to join Norwegian side Rosenborg in a bid to get his career back on track.
It came after a disastrous spell at the City Ground, where form and fitness deserted him.
Now it seems he is not the only Forest flop striker heading to Norway for redemption. Reports in Holland are suggesting Lars Veldwijk is heading to Aalesunds. The Tangoshirts are, according to Pitre Port News, all set to sign him on loan, initially until July.
If he does make the move he will be set to face off with Bendtner and Rosenborg on the 24th April, with the pair hoping to prove themselves top of the flops.
Nottingham Forest’s Lars Veldwijk looks dejected at full time
Veldwijk left Forest on a free transfer in the summer, joining Belgian side Kortrijk, after a poor stint at the City Ground.
He scored just one goal for the club and despite impressing on loan at PEC Zwolle was swiftly moved on.
Veldwijk has played just nine times for the Belgian club, scoring once in a 5-1 loss, and will be hoping Aalesunds offers him a reprieve.
