Everton fans may be encouraged to learn of the latest developments regarding Landon Donovan.
We ran an article last week asking if Landon Donovan would make his loan switch from LA Galaxy to Everton earlier than expected – he usually arrives just after Father Christmas – because of the MLS side’s underperformance so far this season.
There are more than a few Everton fans who would like him to make the switch permanent, and many have wondered why the American – already an MLS champion – does not want to test himself properly at a higher level.
Now there is an interesting development which will get fans hoping. It could prove to be a red herring, but Donovan is selling his luxury LA home.
The news comes from America’s Business Insider, which report that the $4 million California mansion is up on the market.
While yet there is no evidence that Donovan will be moving ‘across the pond’ – or even to Everton – it could be an encouraging sign.
David Moyes side are yet to make their first summer signing, and it would be the best piece of news possible if it was indeed Donovan.
