The Frank Lampard era at Everton is underway and the new manager is already making quite a splash at Goodison Park.
Indeed, while Lampard only officially became the Everton gaffer a few days ago. He’s already made two signings in the shape of Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek, and things are looking up ahead of his first game in charge of the Toffees.
Lampard’s first match comes in a competition that he absolutely loves – the FA Cup.
Lampard has won this competition four times as a player, while he also reached the final with Chelsea as a manager back in 2019/20.
Everton have a tough fourth-round draw, but they’ll view this as a winnable game against Brentford so long as Lampard gets his team selection correct.
With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Merseyside club’s starting XI for this one.

We think that Lampard will make five changes from the side that lost to Aston Villa in his Goodison dugout debut.
Vitaliy Mykolenko, Allan and Michael Keane come in, while there is a debut for Nathan Patterson at right-back after he was spotted in training this week.
Unfortunately, Everton fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see Dele Alli or Donny van de Beek as they are cup-tied due to their previous appearances in this competition with Tottenham and Manchester United.
