Everton could confirm Premier League survival on Thursday evening as they face Crystal Palace in a crucial match at Goodison Park.

It had been said for months that Everton’s home form would be the thing that saves them this season, and this is the Toffees’ last chance to play in front of their home crowd this term.

Everton come into this game knowing that Palace don’t have all that much to play for, but as Brentford showed at the weekend, no game in this league is a walkover, even at this point of the season.

The Toffees will have to show some real character in order to get a result here, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Merseyside club’s starting XI for this one.

We think that the Toffees will make two changes from the team that lost to Brentford last weekend.

Jarrad Branthwaite, of course, drops out after his red card, and he’s replaced by Michael Keane as there are still concerns over the fitness of Ben Godfrey.

Meanwhile, the rest of the back five remains the same.

The second change actually comes in the midfield as Andre Gomes drops out in favour of Allan after a below-par showing against Brentford.

Allan has been out of favour as of late, but Lampard has to roll the dice here and after Gomes’ performance at the weekend, he could be dropped.

Anthony Gordon, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison remain in the front three.
