Aston Villa, Derby County and Cardiff City reportedly want Ethan Ampadu of Chelsea.

According to Goal.com, Derby, Villa and Cardiff City all are interested in signing Ampadu from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that the Rams, the Villans and the Bluebirds want to secure the services of the 18-year-old on loan.
Derby manager and Chelsea legend Lampard has admitted that the London club do not have any intention in sending Ampadu – who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder – on loan this month.
Lampard told The Telegraph about Ampadu: “We have asked, but I don’t think he’s leaving Chelsea.
“He can play in a few positions, that’s why he would be so valuable to anybody and why he’s staying at Chelsea.”

Blow for Aston Villa, Derby County and Cardiff City
Ampadu is a hugely talented and promising young footballer, and the 18-year-old will be a brilliant signing for any club in the Championship.
However, it seems that Chelsea want the Wales international to stay at Stamford Bridge and develop in the first team.
While Villa and Derby are aiming to win promotion from the Championship, Cardiff are fighting for survival in the Premier League.
