Should Wolves target Leeds outcast Luke Murphy?
It is a big month for Leeds United midfielder Luke Murphy, who needs to secure a move away from the club to get his career back on track.
Murphy has not featured at all this season and is surplus to requirements under Garry Monk.
One manager who could offer him an escape route is Wolves boss Paul Lambert, who is a long term admirer of Murphy.

The Birmingham Mail reported in 2013 how Lambert was keen to bring Murphy to Aston Villa. The paper claimed Lambert wanted to play Murphy alongside former Crewe teammate Ashley Westwood, who he had signed months earlier.
Murphy ended up signing for Leeds in the same summer, with Wolves among the teams frustrated to miss out, the Express and Star reported.
He has been a regular for Leeds over the past three seasons and even captained the club in pre-season this summer before Garry Monk decided he wanted to look at alternative options instead.

A raft of changes are expected at Wolves this transfer window as Paul Lambert looks to put his own stamp on the squad.
A player with Murphy’s Championship experience could really benefit a Wolves side which invested too heavily in foreign imports in the summer and need to redress the balance.
Murphy could be allowed to leave cheaply considering his lack of first team football, and Wolves might be smart to attempt to land him on an initial loan.
