Tottenham Hotspur suffered a 2-1 defeat to West Ham United at the weekend, and some fans have expressed their concerns over Harry Kane on Twitter.
West Ham were the better team in the first half, but Spurs stepped up their game after the break in the London derby.
Gareth Bale did well after coming on as a substitute at the start of the second half, providing the corner for Lucas Moura’s goal and seeing a stunning effort come back off the frame of the Hammers’ goal.
Vladimir Coufal’s clearance struck Son Heung-min and hit the outside of the post as well.
Although Tottenham lost, there were a few positives to take from the second half.
However, some Spurs fans are concerned about what happened in the build-up to the incident where Bale’s effort hit the West Ham crossbar.

As shown below in the image, star striker Harry Kane – who recently returned from injury – was in a great position to score or lay the ball perfectly to his teammates to find the net with ease.
However, his low cross was cleared away brilliantly by West Ham star Declan Rice, and Bale’s effort subsequently hit the crossbar.
Some Spurs on Twitter are wondering why Kane did not shoot on goal from that position, given that he is a lethal player in that position.
