Almeria have been left stunned after seeing Everton make a cheeky bid for their star striker El Bilal Toure.
Everton making a loan-to-buy bid for striker El Bilal Toure has caused real surprise inside Spanish club Almeria.
That is according to a report from the Daily Mail, who claim that Almeria have expressed surprise at Everton’s move.
The Toffees offered a loan with obligation to buy Toure but the final fee would have been paid in four instalments.
Almeria unsurprisingly have absolutely no plans of striking that kind of deal and seemingly can’t believe Everton even made such an attempt.
Atalanta are also chasing Toure and could invest big money in him should Manchester United complete a move for Rasmus Hojlund.
Who is Everton target El Bilal Toure?
Toure was born in the Ivory Coast and was plucked from Malian club Afrique Football Elite in 2020 as Stade de Reims pounced.
Toure joined up with the Reims B team but two goals in two games saw him promoted to the first team.
Nine goals in 68 games for Reims doesn’t look impressive at all but Toure did show promise last season.
Toure joined Almeria last summer and bagged seven goals in 20 La Liga games, whilst he already has five goals in 15 Mali caps.
The 21-year-old is powerful forward with a turn of pace and looks to have a huge future if he can keep developing.
There will be ups and downs for Toure if he does join Everton as the jump to Premier League action will be a large one, but the Toffees may need to put their faith in his potential rather than the play he is right now.

Everton must sign a striker this summer
That may be stating the obvious at the moment but their cheeky offer for Toure just shows how Everton need to get serious.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has endured major injury problems whilst Neal Maupay hasn’t had the desired impact.
Ellis Simms has gone and whilst Tom Cannon has potential, it may be too soon to throw him into Premier League action.
Investing in a forward who can score a few goals should be an absolute priority – and they cost big money.
Everton will seemingly need to put considerable money on the table for Toure and if he is their pick, then they need to come up with a big offer – not a loan with a fee down the line.
