Kylian Mbappe drops one-word message on £27m Arsenal player’s IG post

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has posted a message on Arsenal central defender William Saliba’s Instagram post.

Arsenal star Saliba and PSG ace Mbappe were in action for France against Austria in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday.

France won 2-0.

PSG forward Mbappe scored in the 56th minute.

Arsenal centre-back Saliba was named on the substitutes’ bench, but he came on for the injured Jules Kounde in the 23rd minute.

As you can see below, the 21-year-old Arsenal centre-back has taken to Instagram to express his delight at playing for France again.

And his France international teammate Mbappe has responded by writing “Duroooooo”.

When translated from French, Mbappe’s post reads, “Hard”.

William Saliba has been superb for Arsenal this season and has established himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet.

The £27 million (The Guardian) centre-back is doing so well that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been playing England international central defender Ben White at right-back at the moment.

Saliba is still only 21, so we have to manage expectations and accept that the Arsenal and France international centre-back will make mistakes from time to time.
