The PSG star appears to be a big fan of Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.
Paris Saint-Germain ace Kylian Mbappe sat down for an interview with ESPN, and suggested that he would pick to play with Liverpool if he had to play FIFA for money, before suggesting that Jurgen Klopp is a good manager.
The 20-year-old joined PSG on loan from Monaco in the summer of 2017, before making his move a permanent one last summer for £165.7 million, according to BBC Sport, and he has gone on to be a real hit at the Parc des Princes, racking up 60 goals and 32 assists in 87 appearances in all competitions.
The Telegraph reported that Liverpool wanted to sign the France international in 2017, and rumours linking him with a switch to Anfield have resurfaced again over this past month.
And Mbappe gave an interesting response when asked which team he would pick to play on Fifa:
‘Maybe Liverpool because they win the Champions League.”
He was then asked about Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp:
“Yes he’s good.”
Liverpool would have to offer a quite extortionate amount of money to prise Mbappe away from PSG, so as things stand, it is highly unlikely that the World Cup winner will be moving to Anfield anytime soon.
Reds fans will still be delighted to hear the 20-year-old’s remarks about their club, nonetheless.
