The England full-back is wanted by the German side, but Spurs want the Brazilian.

It is being reported that Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker could be a transfer target for German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.

Kicker report that the Spurs right-back was being targeted by Bayern in a deal worth around £15.3 million as the Bavarians look to replace their long-serving veteran Philipp Lahm, who is retiring at the end of the season.

At that fee, Spurs would be right to tell Bayern to forget it. Walker has been in fine form this season and Mauricio Pochettino will not want to sell him at any price.

However, there is an asset that Tottenham want from Bayern.

This week the Mirror reported that Spurs wanted Douglas Costa from the German giants. The Brazilian would reportedly set Tottenham back around £30 million.

However, with the interest in Walker, Spurs might be able to get him for a fraction.

If Bayern really want Walker, Tottenham should tell them to pay the £15 million, but to throw Costa into the bargain as well.

With Kieran Trippier an able replacement and Kyle Walker-Peters coming through the ranks, that is a deal that might tempt Spurs.
