Manchester City ace came up against Newcastle’s DeAndre Yedlin.

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker sent a message to DeAndre Yedlin after coming up against his former understudy earlier this evening.
Walker blocked Yedlin’s progress at Tottenham Hotspur, with the American unable to dislodge him from the first team, or get in front of Kieran Trippier either.

Yedlin was sold to Newcastle last year, and Walker went up against him this evening for Manchester City, having left Spurs himself this summer.
Walker’s City came out on top, winning 1-0 through a Raheem Sterling goal.
He sent a message to Yedlin after the game, offering the US international his best wishes for the rest of the season.
Yedlin’s decision to leave Tottenham has worked out well for him, as he has now established himself as a regular in the Premier League at Newcastle.
He has made 15 starts this season for Rafa Benitez’s side, although he will be hoping their results pick up in 2018, as their poor form has them down in 15th place, unlike Kyle Walker’s runaway league leaders Manchester City.
