Son Heung-min has been outstanding for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
Kyle Walker has praised former Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Son Heung-min, describing him as ‘so nice’.
The South Korea international is a hugely popular figure in Tottenham’s dressing room and has the ability to match his nice guy demeanour.
Son scored twice against Walker’s Manchester City in a Champions League quarter-final last week, with the former Spurs mates facing each other once again as Pep Guardiola’s beat the North Londoners in Premier League action on Saturday.
The former Bayer Leverkusen star, a £22 million signing in 2015 [RTE], has been winning plenty of praise for his form as of late, and Walker says that Son ‘deserves everything he gets’.
“Son has been on fire and he deserves everything he gets. He is a very close friend of mine and the boy is so nice,” he told City’s official website.
“He wouldn’t say boo to a goose, he is that nice. He deserves everything he gets. His hard work is paying off for him.”
It’s a nice sentiment from Walker and Tottenham fans will admit as much, even if many remain sour over his decision to join the Etihad Stadium club in 2017.
Son has netted 12 goals in 20 Premier League starts this season. There were suggestions that he had done enough to earn a PFA Player of the Year nomination, though he was not included in the six-man shortlist.
