Dele Alli has endured a difficult season to date, but he reminded fans of his immense quality on Wednesday evening.

The playmaker has only started one Premier League game all season, seemingly failing to convince Jose Mourinho that he should be given a key role.

After failing to move to Paris Saint-Germain in January, Alli has now got his head down and is showing Mourinho what he’s worth.

On Wednesday evening, Alli opened the scoring for Spurs in their 4-0 win over Wolfsberger, executing a stunning bicycle kick to make it 1-0.

Alli then picked up two assists; he crossed in a perfect ball for Carlos Vinicius to head home, before then teeing up Gareth Bale to score.

This was a perfect night for Alli, and his remarkable goal got many talking on Twitter as players past and present heaped praise on him.

Southampton’s former Spurs defender Kyle Walker-Peters tweeted just one word, claiming that Alli’s goal was ‘normal’ for a player of his quality.

Ryan Sessegnon celebrated the goal despite being out on loan at Hoffenheim from Spurs, whilst Tottenham favourites Micky Hazard and Graham Roberts heaped praise on Alli whilst suggesting he is truly back now.
