Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is yet to use Kyle Walker-Peters so far this season.
Walker-Peters has not seen much game time, and he sought assurances over his future at Spurs months ago.
The full-back was satisfied with Pochettino’s responses to his questions, and the youngster says that he is delighted that he has a manager who is so open with his squad.
“He spoke to me at the beginning of the season which is good,” the full-back said.
“He makes it quite clear that if you want to go and have a word with him, feel free to and question him.”
“The gaffer knows what he’s doing. I have faith in what he has planned for me and when he gives me my opportunities I have to continue to take them.”
Walker-Peters is actually struggling to break into Tottenham’s team this season, and is yet to make an appearances.
Serge Aurier’s improvement, combined with Danny Rose’s re-introduction into Tottenham’s first team seems to have knocked him down the pecking order.
However, Walker-Peters could find his chances increased after the international break.
Pochettino’s options at full-back look slim, with a number of Tottenham’s defenders out injured.
Spurs return to action next weekend, with a match against West Ham United.
