Kyle Lafferty left Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers earlier this summer.

Kyle Lafferty has told The Daily Record that he will be back at Rangers to support the Ibrox club.
Lafferty has left Rangers in the summer transfer window, as announced on the Gers’ official website last month.
The 31-year-old forward returned to Ibrox for a second spell at the Glasgow giants in the summer of 2018, with Steven Gerrard’s side paying Scottish Premiership rivals Heart of Midlothian a transfer fee of £500,000 in order to secure the services of the former Burnley and Norwich City man, as reported by The Glasgow Evening Times.
The Northern Ireland international struggled to make an impact at Rangers last season, as he scored just six goals in 30 appearances for the Gers, as stated on the Scottish Premiership club’s official website.
The forward was on the books of Rangers from 2008 until 2012 as well, and he won the league title thrice during that period.

Lafferty has revealed that despite the disappointment of his second spell at Rangers, he will continue to support the Gers and will be back at Ibrox to support the team.
Lafferty told The Daily Record: “I need now to to move on. Do I regret going back to Rangers?
“Not for one second, I’m still going to support them and go to games. That love won’t ever leave me.
“I will now be back to being a fan and go to games with my wife and daughter, that’s what I’m excited about.”
