Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty scored twice in the 3-3 draw with Motherwell on Sunday.

Rangers were left disappointed at Fir Park on Sunday afternoon as they conceded a last-gasp equaliser in a 3-3 draw with Motherwell.
The Gers were on a high after another win under Steven Gerrard, having beaten Russian side Ufa 1-0 in the Europa League qualifiers on Thursday night, but were pushed all the way by Motherwell.
Early slips from Connor Goldson and Allan McGregor allowed Danny Johnson to give Motherwell the lead, only for Kyle Lafferty’s deflected striker to bring Rangers level.
Carl McHugh put the hosts back in front with a fine header, but Lafferty – making his first start for Rangers since re-joining from Hearts just days earlier – headed home James Tavernier’s cross to make it 2-2.
Rangers took the lead for the first time when Ovie Ejaria finished off a sweeping counter-attack, but after battling through the second half, the Gers conceded with virtually the last kicked of the game as Peter Hartley grabbed an equaliser from a last-gasp corner.
Boss Gerrard will have been hugely disappointed to have dropped two points at the death, but he will surely be delighted with the performance of new signing Lafferty.

The 30-year-old hitman enjoyed the perfect second debut for Rangers with two goals, and he took to Twitter after the final whistle to send a message to fans.
Lafferty admitted that it was the worst way to lose two points, and he was disappointed with the manner of the defeat, but immediately looked ahead to Thursday’s Europa League clash with Ufa.
