Pep Clotet’s input has led to a marked improvement for the Whites at the back.

Leeds United are more defensively organised than they were at the start of the campaign and Kyle Bartley has told BBC West Yorkshire Sport that Pep Clotet is the man responsible.
The Whites have kept back-to-back clean sheets, doubling their tally from the previous nine games.
And according to Bartley, it is assistant coach Clotet who has orchestrated the team’s change of approach.

When asked why it is that Leeds have suddenly tightened up when defending set pieces, the on-loan Swansea City man told BBC West Yorkshire Sport: “I think you have to credit Pep.
“He had a looked at some videos and changed out set up slightly to have a free man with Pontus (Jansson), so he’s not marking anyone but his job is to go and attack the ball and he’s done that very well. It’s made us a lot more solid.”

Bartley began the campaign partnering first Sol Bamba and then Liam Cooper at the heart of the Leeds defence, although Jansson has taken over from the latter in each of the Whites’ last three league outings, with Bamba’s contract terminated my mutual consent in the meantime.
However, head coach Garry Monk has a decision to make ahead of Saturday’s visit of Ipswich Town, with Cooper taking over from the Swede in midweek and keeping a clean sheet against Blackburn Rovers.

Jansson arrived on a season-long loan from Torino in mid-August, but a permanent deal is in place one he has made 20 appearances.
