AFC Wimbledon striker Kwesi Appiah has sent a message to his former Crystal Palace teammate Yannick Bolasie on social networking site Twitter following the winger’s move from Everton to Aston Villa on loan.

Bolasie has joined Championship club Villa on a season-long loan deal from Everton in the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old DR Congo international was at London club Palace from 2012 until 2016 when he moved to the Toffees.

Appiah, now at AFC Wimbledon in League One, was on the books of the Eagles from 2012 until 2017.

The 28-year-old Ghana international striker has sent a message to Bolasie on Twitter following the winger’s loan move from Everton to Villa.

Villa have made a good start to the season and will be determined to finish in the top six of the Championship table.

Bolasie is a very talented winger who has a lot of pace and tricks, and the Everton-owned star will be a big player for the Villans in their quest this season.
