Everton boss Marco Silva made no secret of his desire to bring Kurt Zouma to Goodison Park.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are set to rush back Antonio Rudiger from injury which could make Kurt Zouma gutted about missing out on a move to Everton.
Zouma spent last season on loan at Everton and seriously impressed for Marco Silva’s side.
Chelsea decided to keep Zouma, and he spoke publicly of his need for regular action.
“That [game time] is very important for me. It was one of my targets to get into the France team. I had been there before and wanted to come back,” Zouma said to the Daily Mirror.
If Rudiger is being rushed back from injury though, Zouma may well end up disappointed.
The Frenchman looks most at risk of losing his place, after what was a terrible display against Manchester United at the weekend.

Zouma badly struggled throughout the match, and gave away a penalty, which enabled United to take the lead.
Zouma may not fit in with Frank Lampard’s possession game, but he proved at Everton that he is an excellent centre-back.
If Zouma had returned to Goodison Park he would surely have slotted into their defence alongside Michael Keane.
But after staying with Chelsea, Zouma could now be staring at a place on the bench, which could be a major disappointment to the powerful defender.
