Kun Temenuzhkov has risked the wrath of Leeds United fans by posing for a photograph with Manchester United’s Juan Mata.

Kun, who has impressed for Leeds’ Under-23s following his 2017 transfer from Barcelona, flew into Manchester on Thursday, having represented Bulgaria’s U19s during the international break.

Upon posting the image on his Instagram page afterwards, the 18-year-old wrote in Spanish: “The magician”.

The photo has since been liked more than 500 times, with Leeds players Jack Clarke, Ryan Edmondson, Oriol Rey and Dimitar Sheytanov among those to have reacted positively.

Despite having met just twice in the past 14 years, Leeds’ rivalry with Manchester United remains strong on both sides of the Pennines.

Exactly how so, well Kun may be about to find out in the comments beneath his post.

Although a youth international for the country of his birth, Bulgaria, Kun spent much of his life in Mata’s home nation, Spain.

Is posing with a Manchester United player that big a deal?
