KSI’s investment in football is already delivering moments he did not expect so quickly.
The British rapper and YouTuber recently purchased a 20% stake in Dagenham & Redbridge, stepping into ownership with bold ambitions of taking the club up the English pyramid.
Competing in England’s sixth division, the Daggers are far from the Premier League, but their first result under KSI’s ownership has given the influencer a taste of what success in football can feel like.
And for him, it compared to one of the biggest moments of his career.
KSI compares Dagenham win to Logan Paul victory

Speaking with Patrick Kielty on BBC Radio 5 Live, KSI did not hold back when describing the emotion after Dagenham & Redbridge’s shock win over league leaders Dorking Wanderers earlier this month.
“Honestly, it’s up there with when I beat Logan Paul. It’s up there when I did my sold-out tour. Nothing gets better than this. It was just euphoric.
“It was insane, bro. It was Dorking [Wanderers]. They’re top of the league. Everyone was writing us off, saying we had no chance. And the fact that we managed to beat them at home, convincingly, it should have been 2-0, 3-0. And the vibe in the stadium was great.
“Everyone was happy, buzzing. Everyone was just smiling. And then whilst the winners were there, it was just the best thing, man.”
The win, secured by a goal from Aramide Oteh, marked the club’s first victory since KSI’s involvement. However, things did not go to plan since then.
Mixed results follow statement victory
Dagenham & Redbridge followed the Dorking win with a 2-1 away defeat to Maidstone before settling for a 0-0 draw against Enfield.
Those results reflect the challenges of consistency in the National League South, where momentum can quickly shift.
Still, for KSI, the early emotional impact is already clear, football ownership is proving just as intense as the biggest nights of his career.
